Early this morning, Feb 27th, 2015, we got news that Leonard Nimoy has passed away after being hospitalized a few days ago. Nimoy has been suffering in the final stages of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and died in the comfort of his own home in Los Angeles, California.
I don’t know what to say to honor his memory besides expressing gratitude and admiration for a man who played the roles he took on so well. Millions of people across the world have been inspired by his most iconic role as ‘Mr. Spock’ from Star Trek. Nimoy’s career spanned six decades – you can read about his life and career on his IMDB page.
Rest in peace, Mr. Nimoy. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. You will be missed. #LLAP
Leonard’s last tweet, February 23rd, 2015:
