YouTube user boogie2988 shed some light on the recent controversy (uproar, more accurately) over video game companies (both game developers and hardware manufacturers) paying YouTubers and game reviewers for favorable comments and publicity.
boogie2988 (aka Francis) clarified further:
“let me repeat THIS IS NOT ABOUT BASHING MICROSOFT OR XBOX. Xbox one is a fantastic system. I own one and I think it deserves positive praise for listening to the customer and making a great system that we all would want to own.”
“That said, this is about the industry itself. NOTHING microsoft has done here is that unusual as it happens EVERY DAY in youtube; in gaming and every other topic.”
