The Elder Scrolls Online – The Arrival Cinematic Trailer

The-Elder-Scrolls-Online-TESO

Bethesda just released this new cinematic trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) which coincides with their announcement of the TESO Imperial Edition (pre-order now available).

I’m not sure what I think about this, honestly. I’m sure many of you can relate to the feeling of weariness over new MMO’s trying to break into the already saturated market. I’m sure this will be great for long-time Elder Scroll fans, but will there be enough people to support this new MMO? How many MMO’s can people really play… I suspect, like SWTOR, this will be a fantastic RPG with excellent voice acting and visuals, and many will play and love it for those reasons, but the rest remains to be seen. Enjoy the video and tell us what you think!

What payment model will The Elder Scrolls Online use? – We will be announcing exact payment methods at a later date, but globally we will be supporting multiple payment options. Players must purchase The Elder Scrolls Online in order to play it. They will have unlimited access for the first 30 days following activation and can continue beyond that with a subscription of $14.99/month (€12.99 / £8.99).” -TESO (SOURCE)

Guys… the market is very unlikely to support another subscription based MMO. We’ve seen this time and time again! How long do you think it will take before TESO goes free to play? Give us your best guess in the comments. *scratches head*
